Two Hundred & Seventy Four
Theme: Zombie Hunting!
Omfg! Best day of my damn life. I don't actually know where to start with this. So many thing's happened they crammed so much stuff into just four hours I was never bored. It was easily the best day of my life. I would do it all over again. When me and Shaun arrived, we could hear the scream's of the first group from outside. We had so many different missions. For the first 2 hours we had to run around with the military and then they would send us out on our own to complete missions.
At the very start we had to fill out an infection form to say if we had any zombie infection symptoms. Once we did that, the lights went dark and you hear banging on the entrance door then all you heard was a military man screaming "GO GO GO GO". Even in a zombie apocalypse I still remember to pick up my handbag, unlike the sorry soul who left her's behind for the military to have to retrieve it.
At the very end they lined all the team members up on these stairs and they released all of the zombies onto us. Any survivors? Don't be silly. One of my team mates also shot me in the foot by accident. Hurt like hell.
I also have to apologise to Shaun here. There where two main zombies coming after me, I screamed for Shaun to help me and that alerted one of the zombies that she was there and it came after her. Ha. I used all my bullet's on this one zombie and he still wouldn't go down! Dispute the fact I had no bullets, for some reason I still kept shooting haha. So yes, I got infected. I also broke my gun twice, when I most needed it (my fault).
I had a slight issue with my torch (also my fault), when I most needed to put it away I kept putting it away in the most complicated place possible. Unaware there was a huge pocket for the thing. I discovered the pocket about half an hour before the end. It was so dark, you wouldn't be able to see your hand's in front of you and you couldn't always have your torch on as it attracts the zombies.
The make-up was just so good and the way the military where and the way it was thought out. I highly recommend it. It was totally worth the money and I'd do it all over again. Many thanks to Shaun for coming with me and thanks to her parents for all they have done. :)
As soon as the pictures are posted on the event's website I'll post them on here.
