I Went to get my Christina piercing clipped down today. I went to 'House of David's'. They seem like nice enough people but I'd never go to them again. They seem to lack that intelligence that is needed to be a piercer. Even basic intelligence. There was a man doing everything for me. Which in itself is unfair on the client as they had a female piercist there. At Devils Own you get given a choice if I want a male piercer or a female piercer. Anyway, I got taken into this room with the male piercer and the female piercer came along. Why the female piercer didn't just do it ill never know. She was fully trained. But they both stood there watching me. Getting changed. Then they started bitching about other parlours. After getting up on the chair for him to clip it the women was like "clip it down so its as tight as possible". Umm, no thanks. Then I got him to check my VCH and he said it wasn't straight, it needs to be completely taken out and re-done (he knew that I didn't get my VCH done by him, as I told him, but to cover Devils Own back I said I got it done down Birmingham). I know its not straight, but it was explained to me by Devils Own that it wouldn't be, simply because that's the way basic anatomy is. After that was done, I got changed (with them watching me again) and he was talking to me about all the strippers he's pierced down there. Which, made me feel kind of cheap because I don't know, it just did.

After all this bullshit I went into the main room to pay £5 to get it clipped and I asked him if sold any "easy pierce" (which is anti-bacterial wash for piercings) his response? "What's that? If I *face/palmed* myself my palm would have gone right through my skull. He then moved onto say you don't need to clean it. I mean, what? Then I said "Well now its healing well, can I go swimming?" His response: "Yeah! You can go swimming within ten minutes of having it done!" It's an open wound. No. No you can't. He said he'd been piercing since 19-something. How grateful am I didn't get pierced there?!

I went with Steve yesterday to see if I could get it clipped down then and they couldn't do it as there was no one qualified there. So guess what they suggested? They suggested I do it myself. Lol! I rate House of David's a 1/5. The 1 is for the kindness. Otherwise there just money grabbing and I don't appreciate two people watching me get changed. I also dislike infection.

On the way back from that pa-larva I thought I might as well pop into Devils own to check with the people of intelligence on how my tattoo and piercing is doing. The female piercer took me downstairs and let me get changed on my own. She waited outside until I called her that I'm ready. She looked at my Christina and said "that's a little bit short but shouldn't cause any problems". What's that house of David? Piercing since 19-what? She then told me she's really impressed with the healing of my VCH. Devils own rating 5/5.
